World Cup Match Copilot helps users understand football match context with user-configured AI, optional replay evidence, sports data, and read-only public market signals.
Data We Store Locally
The extension stores settings in Chrome extension storage on the user's device, including language and theme preferences, user-provided API settings, cached match data, downloaded data-package files, short-lived provider responses, and optional Instant Replay local buffer state while the user has explicitly started local buffering.
The extension does not operate a first-party backend service and does not sell user data.
API Keys
Users provide their own API keys. Keys are stored locally in chrome.storage.local and are sent only to the provider selected or configured by the user for the relevant feature.
The extension does not ask for, store, or process wallet private keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials, betting credentials, or Polymarket account credentials.
Current Page Context
When the user opens or refreshes the extension on a tab, the extension may read the active tab's URL, title, and visible page text to identify the likely match and build AI context. This page context is used only for match detection and user-requested analysis.
The store-safe build uses activeTab and a user-triggered one-shot script read instead of a static all-sites content script.
Instant Replay And Replay Audio
Instant Replay is off by default. It only captures the current tab after the user explicitly starts the local buffer.
Depending on user settings, replay images may be sampled from the local buffer and sent to the user-configured vision model only when the user asks an AI question and image upload is enabled. Replay audio may be sent to the user-configured transcription provider only when the user asks an AI question and audio upload is enabled. Transcription text may then be included as context for the user-configured text model.
Stopping the local buffer clears the active replay buffer.
Third-Party Providers
Depending on configuration and user actions, data may be sent to the user's configured text model provider, vision model provider, audio transcription provider, user-configured sports-data providers, public GitHub-hosted data package endpoints, and Polymarket Gamma API for read-only public market signal data.
Public market data is used only as an analysis signal. This extension does not embed Polymarket trading pages, place orders, facilitate transactions, or provide betting/trading instructions.
